Organize a year of bank transactions for tax prep

At tax time you often need a year of transactions from your bank, and the bank gives you twelve PDFs. Convert each one to Excel or CSV, then sort, filter and total the year's transactions in a spreadsheet, knowing each statement added up.

Convert a statement

How it works

  1. Download the year's statements as PDFs from your online banking.
  2. Upload them; each statement becomes its own Excel and CSV file.
  3. Copy the Transactions sheets into one workbook for the whole year.
  4. Sort, filter or total the rows, or hand the files to your accountant.

FAQ

Does it sort transactions into tax categories?

No. You get every transaction with its date, description, debit, credit and balance. Categorizing them is up to you or your accountant.

Can I convert the whole year at once?

Each statement is converted on its own: files can be up to 10 MB and 50 pages, and you can upload up to 10 files a minute. A year of monthly statements is twelve quick uploads.

How long are my files kept?

We delete uploaded PDFs after 24 hours and results after 30 days, so download the Excel and CSV files you need.
